Jay is an Emergency Physician at the University Hospitals of Leicester with special interest in caring for older people, and Honorary Associate Professor in Emergency Care and Academic Champion in Clinical Leadership, University of Leicester. He was previously Associate Medical Director for Quality Improvement in UHL and Jay led the national multi-disciplinary group in the UK that produced the “Silver Book” and led a multi-national group for developing the “Standard Set for Older Person” for the International Consortium for Health Outcome Measurement, funded by NHS England
