As a blogger, she combines her personal understanding of the disease with her professional knowledge gained through her practice as a medical doctor. Nancy is a firm believer in the restorative powers of humour (however dark) when dealing with dementia and she has found writing about even the most traumatic of events to be surprisingly therapeutic.
