Sarah lives and works in Plymouth, Devon. Originally from Torbay, she moved to Plymouth at 18 to study Photography at Plymouth College of Art. Sarah focused her final year documenting her grandmother’s diagnosis of Alzheimer’s, finding a passion for phototherapy and therapeutic photography.Since graduating, Sarah has continued to discover ways to use her photography with those living with dementia. Sarah has volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Society and Age UK, exhibited her work in her first solo exhibition in 2015 and continued to work with her Grandmother on a 1 to 1 basis. Sarah now works as an Activities Coordinator in a nursing home; she works closely with those living with dementia and palliative care residents.
